Survey Specification

The vessel design will meet Australian survey standards. The designated categories are:

Category	Operation
1F	Designated for self drive charter in partially smooth conditions with a limit of x miles offshore. An extension is available for waters in the Whitsunday area.
2F	Designated for crewed charter in partially smooth conditions with a limit of x mile off shore.

The certification process starts at the beginning of hull construction and encompasses scheduled visits by the government authority and the relevent certified survey professionals. The process is not without costand will change a some functional and technical aspects of the design that otherwise would be more desirable as a non-survey implementation. Post certification of the vessel after construction is not a viable option.
